Reliance Jio and Google announced free Google AI Pro, a ₹35,100 value, for 18 months on 30 October 2025, first for 18-to-25-year-olds on unlimited 5G plans and for all ages from 10 November. Jio had about 506 million subscribers at the time. Neither company has published uptake, and Alphabet's last three earnings calls don't mention India or Jio. Sensor Tower estimates Gemini's India monthly users at 118 million in January 2026.

Who is speaking: Reliance Jio, which sells telecom. Google, which sells ads and Search. Sensor Tower, which sells app data. Label: Claimed for the offer. Verified for the absence in earnings remarks. Inferred for the user estimate. Source: Reliance release and Google blog, 30 October 2025\. Alphabet earnings remarks, Q4 2025 to Q2 2026\. TechCrunch reporting Sensor Tower, February 2026.
